1. What happens if my business name is unavailable?

  • We check the availability of business names with CAC in real-time.

  • If your name is unavailable, please revise your selection and try other options.

  • Make sure to choose names that follow CAC guidelines (avoid prohibited or reserved names).

2. How can I check the status of my business registration?

  • Navigate to the "Submitted Applications" section under Business Registration to track the real-time status of your application.

3. Can I register multiple businesses through the Kuda Business app?

  • Yes, you can register multiple business names under your Kuda Business account.

  • Follow the same registration process for each business.

  • Each registration will appear under "Submitted Applications," and completed documents will be in the “Completed Applications” section once available.

4. What should I do if I didn’t receive a TIN after registering my business?

  • Check the "Submitted Applications" section to verify the status of your registration.

  • If the registration shows as "Completed," the TIN should have been issued.

  • If no TIN is visible, please send us an in-app message so we can help.

5. What should I do if my payment for business registration fails?

  • Check if your account was debited.

  • If it was debited but the process failed, please send us an in-app message so we can help.

  • If it was not debited, please retry the payment using the app.

  • Ensure your internet connection is stable or try a different payment method if necessary.

6. How long does it take to receive my CAC documents after registration?

  • Typically, it takes between 10-12 business days to receive your CAC documents, depending on CAC's processing time.

7. Can I change my business name after submitting the application?

  • No, once the registration is submitted, you cannot change the business name. You'll need to restart the process with a new application if you wish to change it.

8. Where can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN) after registering?

  • You can find your TIN in the “Completed Applications” section of the app once the registration is successfully processed.

9. What should I do if my business registration application is queried by CAC?

  • If your application is queried, we'll notify you of the issue.

  • You can provide the required information or corrections through the app to resolve the query.

10. Can I register a partnership business on the Kuda Business app?

  • Yes, you can register both Sole Proprietorships and Partnership businesses through the app. Just select the appropriate option during registration.
