24-hour Account Limits

For the first 24 hours after your Kuda Business account is opened (starting from the exact time your account is created), there are limits on how much money can come in and go out of your account.

Once the 24-hour period has ended, you’ll be able to make transactions within your account limit.

How much can I receive (inflows) in the first 24 hours?

  • The total amount you can receive in the first 24 hours is ₦20,000.

  • If anyone tries to send you more than ₦20,000 in total during this period, the transfer may fail or be rejected until the 24-hour period is over.

  • You may see a message/notification that the inflow was rejected.

How much can I send (outflows) in the first 24 hours?

  • The total amount you can send in the first 24 hours is ₦20,000.

  • Transfers above this limit may fail or be blocked until the 24 hours is over.

Are inflow and outflow limits connected?

No. The limits are separate:

  • Using your inflow limit does not reduce your outflow limit.

  • Using your outflow limit does not reduce your inflow limit.

Note: These limits will take effect from the 1st of June, 2026.
