Regulatory Requirements for Additional Accounts

When creating additional Kuda Business accounts, ensure compliance with CAC regulations:

  1. Each new account must be tied to a distinct company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

  2. Different CAC company files (certificates) are required if the same business name is used across multiple accounts.

  3. Branches of the same company cannot use one CAC registration to open multiple accounts.

Remember:

  • You can only have one Freelancer account, but you can add as many Full Business accounts as you like to your profile.

  • If you have a Full Business account, you can add either another Full Business account or a Freelancer account.

  • Deleted accounts cannot be reopened, and using the same details to create a new account may not be allowed.

  • Each new business account must be registered under a distinct business name unless a different CAC company file is provided for each account.

  • All new accounts require unique CAC registrations, which means you cannot use one CAC registration across multiple accounts or branches.
