Who can edit teammates?
Only the Business Owner (Super Admin) and Admins can:
Edit teammate details
Update roles and permissions
Change account access
Adjust transaction limits
Deactivate or reactivate teammates
Note: Accountants and Employees cannot manage teammates.
How to manage a teammate
Open the Kuda Business app.
Go to Hub and tap Teams (under Business Tools).
Select the teammate you want to manage.
Tap Edit Teammate.
Tap Details to update their job role (if needed).
Update what they can do:
Role: Tap Assign Role, choose Admin, Accountant, or Employee, then tap Next.
Account access: Choose the accounts they can access (Main, Expense, POS), then select View-Only or Full Access, then tap Next.
Transaction permissions (Full Access only): Choose Initiator, Approver, or Both, then set their Initiator Limit and Approver Limit.
Deactivate or reactivate a teammate
To remove access: Open the teammate’s profile and toggle Deactivate Teammate, then confirm.
To restore access: Open the teammate’s profile and toggle Reactivate Teammate, then confirm.
What happens next?
When you edit a teammate, they get an email notification and changes apply immediately.
When you deactivate a teammate, they lose access right away and will show as Deactivated in your team list.
When you reactivate a teammate, their previous access is restored and they can use the account again right away.
