What is Reward on Deposits?
Reward on Deposits is a programme that gives eligible businesses a bonus for keeping money in their main Kuda Business accounts.
It is a discretionary bonus from Kuda and not interest or a guaranteed return. You may receive a reward each month, but payments are not guaranteed, and the amount may vary.
Who qualifies?
The programme is available to businesses classified as Mid-size, Small or Micro on Kuda Business.
Businesses classified as Enterprise or Growing are not eligible.
Rewards apply only to your main Kuda Business account. Money held in expense accounts does not qualify.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Eligible businesses are automatically included. You do not need to register, activate the feature or maintain a minimum balance to be included.
Automatic inclusion does not guarantee a reward payment.
How much could I receive?
Kuda determines reward amounts based on balances maintained in eligible main accounts and its programme criteria.
The maximum reward is currently ₦10,000 per eligible main account per month. This is a cap, not a guaranteed payment.
Reward amounts may vary from month to month. Kuda may change the reward amount, calculation criteria or maximum payout without prior notice.
When are rewards paid?
When a reward is paid, it is generally credited within the first few days of the following month.
You will receive a notification, and you can find the payment in your transaction history and account statement.
Can I still use the money in my account?
Yes. You can withdraw, transfer or spend money from your main business account as usual. Reward on Deposits does not restrict access to your funds.
What if I do not receive a reward?
Rewards are discretionary and are not guaranteed every month.
If you believe a reward credit is missing, or you receive a reward notification but cannot find the payment, contact Customer Support. We can refer your enquiry to our Business Banking team for review.
Can I opt out?
Yes. Although Reward on Deposits is a bonus rather than interest, you can choose not to receive it.
Contact Customer Support and ask to be excluded from the programme. We will forward your request to our Business Banking team and confirm once your exclusion has been completed.
