If you see this error when trying to process a card payment, don't worry. Here's what you need to know:

What's happening?

This error usually shows up when there's a problem at the customer's bank. It means we couldn't process the transaction because of a downtime at their end.

Will the customer be charged?

In most cases, the customer won't be charged. But if they do see a charge on their account, here's what to do:

1. Ask the customer to wait a bit. The charge might reverse on its own.

2. If it doesn't, tell them to contact their bank.

3. Give them the transaction receipt to help with the refund process.

What should you do next?

  • Ask the customer if they have another card they can try.

  • If not, suggest they try again later when their bank's system might be back up.

Remember, this isn't a problem with your Kuda POS or the customer's card. It's just a temporary glitch at their bank.
