Learn how to create, manage, and use access codes in the Kuda Business app to control user access to Sales Mode.

Overview

Access codes in Kuda Business allow merchants to manage which users can use Sales Mode on the Web POS. This feature is found in the Manage Devices section under Inventory in the Kuda Business app.


Accessing the Manage Devices Section

  1. Open the Kuda Business app.

  2. Navigate to the Hub tab.

  3. Select Inventory.

  4. Tap Manage Sales Devices.

Here, you can view, activate, deactivate, or add users that can access Sales Mode.

Adding a New User

  1. In Manage Devices, tap the Add (+) button at the top-right corner.

  2. Enter the Device Name (e.g., "John - Yaba").

  3. Tap Add.

  4. A unique Access Code will be generated.

  5. Share the Access Code with the device user to sign in to Sales Mode.

Managing Existing User

Activating or Deactivating a User

  • Toggle the switch next to the user to activate (green) or deactivate (gray) its access.

Using the Access Code to Sign In

  1. Click Sales Mode.

  2. Enter the Access Code received from the admin.

  3. Click Sign In to access Sales Mode.
