Understanding Your Payment Status
Tap any payment in your transaction history to see its current status. Each status tells you what’s happening with your transaction:
Initiated: We’ve debited your account and started processing the payment within Kuda.
Sent: Your payment has left Kuda and is now being processed by the recipient’s bank or service provider (such as NIBSS).
Completed: The recipient’s bank has confirmed that the funds were successfully delivered.
Failed: The payment couldn’t be completed, and the full amount has been returned to your account. This may happen if, for example, the recipient’s details were entered incorrectly.
