Apps on Kuda Business - FAQs

1. What is the Apps feature in Kuda Business?

Apps help you find business software that works with your Kuda POS. Supported software can send bills straight to your terminal, so you do not have to type the amount again.

2. Where can I find Apps?

Open the Merchant Area in Kuda Business and select Apps. It is visible to admins and super admins of active Kuda Business accounts.

3. Does Kuda own the software listed in Apps?

No. The software is provided by separate companies. Kuda provides your POS, your Kuda Business account and the payment service.

4. Which Partners can I use?

You can currently connect to Lumi, TracePos, Sales Unbox and StoreLense. We’ll add more partners over time, so check Apps for the latest list. Only partners listed there are supported. Select a partner to find out what it does and how to get started.

5. Do I need an account with the partner?

Yes. You need your own account with the partner you want to use. The partner may charge for its service; Kuda does not provide the account.

6. Can I use Apps without a Kuda POS?

You can browse Apps, but you need an active physical Kuda POS to connect to a partner. If you do not have one, select Connect POS to see an option to request a physical POS.

7. Can I connect a Virtual POS?

No. Only active physical Kuda POS terminals can be connected through Apps. Virtual POS devices are not shown in the terminal list.

8. Can I connect more than one terminal?

Yes. Choose the active physical terminal you want to connect, complete setup in the partner’s app, then repeat the steps for each additional terminal.

9. Where do I get my POS access code and serial number?

In Apps, select your partner, then select Connect POS and choose your terminal. You can also find these details in your POS details in the Merchant Area.

10. Why can’t I see a connected status?

The connection is completed in the partner’s app, so Kuda Business does not show a connected status. Send a small test bill to check that it reaches your POS.

11. What is a Push Payment?

It means the software you use for orders sends a bill directly to your Kuda POS. Your customer pays on the terminal, and the payment goes into your Kuda Business account.

12. Do I still need to type the amount on the POS?

Not for bills sent from a supported partner’s app. The bill amount appears on your terminal automatically.

13. Can I still accept normal card or transfer payments?

Yes. Apps feature does not change how your POS works for normal walk-in payments.

14. Does Kuda charge extra for using a partner?

No. Using a partner does not change Kuda’s POS payment charges. The partner may charge a separate service fee.

15. Who pays the partner’s service fee?

You pay any service fee agreed with the partner. It is taken from your Kuda Business account after each payment, not added to the amount your customer sees on the terminal.

16. What should I do if a bill does not reach my POS?

Check that your terminal is switched on, charged and online. Confirm that the access code and serial number in the partner’s app match your selected terminal, then try sending a new bill. If it still does not arrive, contact Kuda with the partner’s name, terminal serial number and the time you sent it.

17. What if the partner’s setup screen asks for details I do not have?

Select Chat with us in Kuda Business and tell us the partner’s name and what the setup screen is asking for. We’ll help you with the next steps.

18. Can I request software that is not listed?

Yes. Select Request a partner in Apps and complete the form. Tell us the software’s name and how you would like to use it with your Kuda POS. We review requests, but cannot guarantee that the software will be added or give a date.

19. Who should I contact if I need help?

You can send a message to Kuda Business support through the in-app or contact [email protected] with details about the issue.
