1. Who goes through OKHI address verification?
Currently, only freelancer accounts are verified through OKHI instead of manual document submission.
2. How long does OKHI verification take?
Verification typically takes 2–8 days, but in most cases it’s completed within about 2 days.
3. What do the different OKHI statuses mean?
Verified: Address verification is successful.
In Progress: Address verification is still ongoing.
Not at Address: Verification failed - You were not detected at the provided address
Unknown: Verification failed - The system could not retrieve sufficient verification data.
Cancelled: Verification was cancelled
4. What happens after each verification status?
Verified: Your address has been confirmed successfully.
In Progress: Your verification is still being processed — no action is needed yet.
Not at Address / Unknown / Cancelled: Verification was unsuccessful. You’ll see the update in your app and can upload a utility bill for manual verification as a fallback option.
5. Can verification be fast-tracked if it’s urgent?
No. The OKHI verification process can’t be sped up, so you’ll need to wait until it’s completed.
6. Can I complete OKHI address verification on the web?
No. OKHI address verification is only available in the app. If you’re using the web, address verification is done manually by uploading a utility bill.
