To improve verification speed and customer experience, address verification for both Freelancer and Full Business account holders now uses OKHI’s automated process instead of the traditional manual method that required uploading utility bills.
With OKHI integration, address verification is now faster and more efficient. Instead of submitting documents, users confirm their address through a guided process that uses consented location data and address intelligence to verify that they reside at the provided address. This reduces manual reviews, shortens turnaround time, and improves the overall onboarding experience.
Freelancers and Full Business customers must complete address verification through OkHi on the Kuda Business mobile app before their accounts can be fully verified. Utility bill upload will no longer be accepted for address verification.
Freelancers are required to verify their address using OkHi, while Full Business customers will first be asked whether their business operates from their home address or a separate business location.
Customers who operate from home will complete OkHi digital address verification, while those with a separate business location will complete OkHi physical address verification. Address verification cannot be completed on the Web; customers using the Web will be redirected to the mobile app.
Benefits of the New Process
Faster verification compared to manual document review
Immediate validation instead of delayed feedback
Reduced backlog and operational workload
Improved customer experience and onboarding speed
